Innovolt, a pioneer and leader in intelligent electronics protection and management, was recently named a finalist in the Fastest Growing Tech Company of the Year category for the 2012 American Business Awards, and will ultimately be announced as a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit nominations — public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
More than 3,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
Innovolt was named a finalist within the Fastest Growing Tech Company of the Year category for the businesses with up to 100 employees, recognizing the company’s significant growth over the past year.
From 2010 to 2011, Innovolt increased its revenue by 588 percent. Its significant growth can be attributed to the company’s expanded market reach, licensing technology, as well as forward-thinking executive leadership. Innovolt’s proprietary and patented electronics protection technology is cost-effective, highly scalable, and proven to significantly increase product reliability and lifespan for commercial and industrial industries.
“It’s well known that our electronic devices are crucial to our everyday lives, and over the past few years they have become highly sophisticated and digital. This evolution, combined with the antiquated and unreliable power source, further establishes the need for intelligent power protection. Current protection options for electronics are severely limited, and our growth is directly correlated with the public’s demand for innovative solutions,” stated Jeff Spence, COO and president of Innovolt. “We are honored to be recognized for our growth by The American Business Awards and to be among such a select group of innovative companies from around the country.”
Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the finalists during final judging to take place May 14 - 25.
For the first time, The American Business Awards will be presented at two awards events: the ABA's traditional banquet on Monday, June 18 in New York, and a new tech awards event on Monday, September 17 in San Francisco.
